I have been a proud supporter of the Red Cross for years, and for good reason. Their lifesaving blood drives played a critical role in my own survival, and their tireless efforts-both locally and globally-have positively impacted millions. Every day, the Red Cross responds to emergencies, providing aid in times of disaster, offering shelter, and delivering medical care where it's needed most.
With over 100 million volunteers worldwide, the Red Cross is not just a response organization; they are strategists and human rights advocates who bring unparalleled expertise to every crisis. They respond to nearly 66,000 disasters each year in the U.S. alone and collect approximately 13,000 blood donations daily, ensuring hospitals have the resources to save lives. Trusted by governments and communities alike, they do their work without politics or bias-just a commitment to humanity.
I can personally say that without the Red Cross, the world would be a much more troubled place, and countless lives-including my own-would be worse off. I encourage everyone to support their mission, whether by donating, volunteering, or simply spreading the word.

DKMS is laser-focused on the critical mission of researching and eliminating blood cancers, which sadly affect a new individual every 27 seconds. The foundation's work is innovative and multifaceted, spanning from cutting-edge research aimed at finding a cure to actively searching for blood stem cell donors worldwide. They connect these selfless donors with patients in need, offering hope and a chance at life. Since its inception, DKMS has built an extraordinary network of 12 million donors across the globe. This growing database provides invaluable support to patients battling blood cancers, giving them the opportunity for a second chance at life. By raising awareness and inspiring people to become potential donors, DKMS is making an incredible difference in the fight against blood cancer.
